RPG Academy of Art & Music
The Annual RPG Art Camp

RPG Academy of Art has been organizing annual art camps since 1991. These camps are hosted by group chairman and art aficionado, Harsh Goenka, and Vikram Sethi, director of the Fine Arts Trust. Artists from different parts of the country, live and paint together for seven days at the CEAT House in Marve, a suburb of Mumbai.

The artists are specially selected and invited from across the country. The gathering constitutes a perfect setting for painters to create some inspiring masterpieces. Some artists like Anjolie Ela Menon and Paresh Maity regularly attend these camps. Many young artists are also invited to give them a chance to interact with senior artists.

A typical day at the camp is spent painting; in the evening the artists get together to share notes and their creative experiences. The painters create two paintings during camp, which are displayed for a select audience of art lovers at the end of the event.
