Foundation JEEVAN

Swayam Health

Launched in 2015, the program equips women and youth to have careers in the healthcare sector. Training is imparted for job roles such as General Duty Assistant, Home Health Aide, Geriatric Care Assistant, Pharmacy Assistants, etc. Relevant medical training, complemented by soft skills is imparted to the candidates. Trained beneficiaries are provided employment avenues with hospitals, home-based healthcare agencies and diagnostic centres. Till date over 14,000 candidates have been trained to become healthcare professionals across India.

Swayam Drive

Launched in 2014, the program aims to break the stereotypes in the male-dominated transport sector. Women are given comprehensive training in driving, mechanics, spoken English, customer interaction and self-defense. Upon completion of training, candidates work as courier or delivery agents, taxi drivers and auto-rickshaw drivers, etc. Many of the Swayam Drive candidates are employed by OLA, Uber, Swiggy, Zomato and Amazon. Over 9,000 candidates have been trained across India.

Swayam Digital

The program aims to empower youth from marginalized backgrounds to find employment in the growing IT/ITES sector. Candidates undergo training under various courses such as data entry operator, hardware networking and digital marketing. Till date, over 12,600 candidates have been trained under Swayam Digital. Out of this 9,900 have been trained under the Employability Skills Development (ESD) program. Through the ESD program, RPG Foundation works with students in tier-2 & tier-3 engineering colleges with an aim of making them industry ready and to be better equipped with the necessary skills that ensure better job opportunities and career growth.

Swayam Construction

Launched in 2020, the program enables candidates to attain comprehensive training for various job roles, such as mason, electrician, scaffolder and carpenter. Over 1,900 candidates have been trained under this program and have gained meaningful employment.

Swayam Skills

The program focuses on developing skills for employability & entrepreneurship amongst women & youth and helps them increase their income generation capacity. Candidates undergo vocational training courses as per local demand and take up jobs as auto-repair mechanic, white goods service technician, mobile repair technician, etc. The program also provides entrepreneurial training and helps candidates to set up their individual or group enterprises. Over 16,000 candidates have been trained under this program for vocational training and livelihood development.

Swayam Connect

The Foundation wants to focus on continued learning and growth. With this aim a digital portal, Swayam Connect was launched in 2021. Swayam Connect helps people find jobs in the healthcare sector and progress in their careers. More than 50 employers like Portea and Aaji Care are recruiting from this platform. Besides online trainings and job opportunities, the portal also provides access to updated government schemes and all the paperwork and steps needed to access them. Till date over 7,000 beneficiaries have signed up and the number continues to grow.
