Fever Clinics

In partnership with the National Health Mission (Maharashtra) and the Public Health Department, Govt of Maharashtra, RPG Foundation identified the need for quality health care infrastructure in rural and semi-urban Maharashtra. To bridge this gap, the Foundation conceptualised, designed, manufactured and installed Porta Cabins as “Fever Clinics”.

The Foundation has set up 100 fever clinics in rural and semi-urban Maharashtra. This is helping provide infrastructure support to the government healthcare system, as well as relief to rural residents who now have easy access to basic COVID care. The Foundation has also placed Fever Clinic Operators at each of these clinics, to ensure smooth operations. The NHM provides a doctor and a qualified nurse at each clinic, making this a true Public Private Partnership. In time, post the Covid-19 pandemic, these clinics would be used to provide basic medical care to the rural residents.
