Group Management Resource Program
RPG’s GMR program provides young managers opportunities for professional advancement. GMRs are hired at fresher as well as lateral levels from premier institutes such as IIM-A, IIM-C, ISB, XLRI and others. Their career streams depend on their aspirations and can range from management, chartered accountancy to law. They receive direct mentorship from business and functional heads. Their careers are tracked regularly, while their growth is fast tracked with the purpose of making them part of a talent pool that can be tapped across the RPG Group.
RPG is an excellent place to work, learn and grow. What I like about RPG is the open culture, caring management, productive meaningful work and freedom to experiment. In KEC Projects and Cables businesses, not only did I get opportunities to work with talented people across multiple units and functions within, but also with our customers, contractors and suppliers.
RPG Enterprises is more like an interesting anthology than a boring novel, with each group company having their own unique origin and back story. I love being the internal ambassador of the “GMR” brand in my company which also means that we GMRs are a significant part of the unifying common fibre that binds the group companies together. Individual freedom and focus on professional development are highlights of my tenure in Raychem RPG.
I have been exposed to various functions and group companies early on with stints across Total Rewards and L&OD teams at Zensar Technologies followed by a Plant HR role in CEAT. At RPG, the management believes in unleashing talent and with this faith I was given the responsibility of Campus Lead which oversees the end to end management of campus engagement and recruitment for the GMR program of the RPG Group. My two years has been an enriching learning experience thanks to the diverse and growing conglomerate which is RPG.
I strive for some ahaa moments in my life; moments that I can cherish forever; moments that give me an opportunity to prove myself.
