Rajat Bhargava is the CEO-Speciality Sector and Head-Group Transformation. The Speciality Sector comprises Harrisons Malayalam Limited, Raychem RPG Private Limited and RPG Life Sciences Limited. Rajat also drives the RPG Group-wide initiatives in digital, innovation and business excellence. In addition, he is the Group Chief Strategy Officer. Rajat joined the RPG Group in 2021. Prior to that, he worked for 7 years with Hero MotoCorp Limited, the global two-wheeler leader. At Hero MotoCorp, Rajat held multiple responsibilities, including leading the Global Business, Electric Vehicles Business Unit and Strategy. Rajat also drove M&A, innovation and engagement with startups. He served on the board of Ather Energy, an Indian two-wheeler EV leader. Prior to Hero MotoCorp, Rajat was a Partner with McKinsey & Company. Over 16 years with the firm, he served clients across geographies, sectors and functions. Rajat was the leader of McKinsey’s Asia Pacific Purchasing practice and the co-leader of its Industrial practice in India. Rajat is a B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT-Delhi, and an MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad, where he received the gold medal for academic excellence. Rajat enjoys playing badminton and running.
