  • KEC’s stock surpasses its own benchmark level of Rs. 179 (Rs. 895 reached in Jan 2008 when its face value was Rs. 10/share) and touched an all-time high of Rs. 212.90. With this, the company’s market cap touched an all-time high at Rs. 5360 crore as against Rs. 2058 crore at the end of FY2015 and Rs. 3144 crore at the end of FY2016.
  • KEC’s Water Business, which has a significant component of Civil and Structural Engineering is merged with the Civil Business with a view to drive further synergies and manage efficiencies.

  • KEC constructed the 380 kV Overhead Transmission Line in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, including a Gas Insulated Line. It was a first-of-its-kind project covering 2 circuits of Gas Insulated Line (GIL) of 500 Meters each, requiring highly specialized equipment.
  • KEC erects a 40-meter Boom in the busy Daund Station, marking it as a major milestone for the company.
  • KEC completes its first water treatment project in Ramnagar which now provides treated drinking water to over 7,000 households in the region.
