Harrisons Malayalam Limited (HML) is one of the most diversified agro-based companies in India, with 15,000 employees. The company is the single largest grower of natural rubber in India with 11 rubber estates. Seven rubber factories produce 11000 MT of natural latex.

HML has 13 tea estates, and over 6000 hectares under cultivation and 12 tea factories produces 18000 MT of tea. Apart from being the largest producer of tea in South India, HML is also supposedly the largest producer of pineapples in India.

The company also produces smaller quantities of a variety of other exotic horticultural crops like areca nut, banana, cardamom, cocoa, coffee, coconut, pepper and vanilla as well as limited quantities of organic tea and spices.

The company produces two types of tea -- CTC & Orthodox.

HML has well established and popular tea brands in South India like Mountain Mist, Harrisons Gold, Surya. The T-20 tea bags are available in three varieties -- regular, flavoured and organic.

In the premium tea segment, single estate brands – Surianalle (CTC), Lockhart (Orthodox) & Touramulla (Organic), are well-known brands.

The five most sought after rubber products are Centrifuged Latex, PLC, Crumb Rubber, Crepe Rubber and Technically Specified Rubber.
