The "Bombay" Exhibition, 1995

The RPG Academy of Art organized its first show ‘Bombay’ in 1995. The exhibition saw 75 of India’s finest artists and sculptors portraying their interpretation and impressions of the city of Bombay.

The exhibition showcased artistic representations of Bombay by artists based in the city and by those who have rarely visited it. The concurrence of their respective visions about the city was what made it interesting.
