Diversity and Inclusion

In today’s day and age, diversity and inclusion has become a priority for India Inc, showing innumerable benefits and results for many organisations. With RPG’s already diverse and global workforce of over 21000 employees, we believe a Centre of Excellence (CoE) approach is the right way to manage this talent pool. This thought lead to the inception of the Diversity and Inclusion CoE—a body working towards creating an inclusive workforce which fosters diverse thoughts, cultures, age, gender. The COE consists of representatives from all group companies.

The current focus for the D&I CoE is to bring a balance in the workforce by having equal gender split, with an aim to create an inclusive environment and foster the growth of women employees in the organization. The goal is that at least 25% of the workforce should be women and 20% women leaders at VP+ grades by 2021. To achieve this targets, the D&I CoE has introduced a framework called ADMIRE which will aim at acquiring, developing, motivating, involving, retaining and empowering the women workforce. The “WE@RPG” women’s network has also provided a common platform for women across all companies to network and learn from each other.
